Programs that provide diagnostic and treatment planning services for people who are experiencing acute or chronic psychiatric problems. (AIRS RP-5000) These assessments and evaluations may be provided by a variety of professionals, including psychologists (PhD, PsyD), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW, LICSW), Mental Health Counselors (CMHC, LPC), and marriage and family therapists (LMFT).

Provides a variety of day treatment programs for children and youth with mental and behavioral health symptoms that cause problems in the home, at school, or in the community. Day treatment is more intensive than outpatient treatment but less intensive than hospitalization.

Services Include:

  • Adolescents in Motion (AIM)- a day treatment program for 12 to 17 year olds struggling with depression, anxiety, oppositional behaviors, anger management and other associated symptoms. 
  • Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT)- a day treatment program for 12 to 17 year olds who are struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and other associated symptoms.

The Adult Crisis Receiving Center at WBH offers an alternative to emergency department and psychiatric hospitalization admission for adults by providing up to 23-hours of respite, support, and observation. The Receiving Center seeks to provide a safe environment, relieve crisis symptoms immediately, provide observation, determine level of care and appropriate referrals for additional services needed upon discharge, and to deflect from unnecessary higher levels of care (Hospital ED, Inpatient Psychiatric Hospitalization, Jail)
