Services Provided:

Provides a variety of day treatment programs for children and youth with mental and behavioral health symptoms that cause problems in the home, at school, or in the community. Day treatment is more intensive than outpatient treatment but less intensive than hospitalization.

Services Include:

  • Adolescents in Motion (AIM)- a day treatment program for 12 to 17 year olds struggling with depression, anxiety, oppositional behaviors, anger management and other associated symptoms. 
  • Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT)- a day treatment program for 12 to 17 year olds who are struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and other associated symptoms.

Valley offers an east and west location for convenience. Outpatient services are also available in selected elementary, middle and high school sites in Salt Lake, Granite, Canyons, Murray and Jordan school districts individual and family therapy as well as providing access to community support programs.

Brigham Suicide Prevention hosts community education evenings, and other events including a support group for those who have survived an attempted suicide, and those who have lost a loved one to suicide, in order to prevent suicide and support those who have been affected by it.
