The regulatory agency responsible for preserving the balance established by the legislature for protecting the health, safety, and economic well-being of employees and employers. Provides assistance related to child labor laws, minimum wage standards, housing and employment discrimination, workers compensation, elevator permits, and disaster-related cash grants.

COVID-19 Update: The Small Business Quarantined Employee Grant program provides reimbursement to small businesses with less than 50 employees that maintain salaries for employees required to quarantine or isolate due to COVID-19. Grants distributed to qualified applicants on a first-come-first-served basis until the funds are fully disbursed.
