The groups meet in-person, by telephone or via the Internet; and focus on helping participants accept their loss, express their grief, move through the bereavement process and put their lives back together. Eligibility: Have had a loss of a loved one. Anyone can attend the 8 week grief groups. Children's groups are for children ages 7 to 11 years. Adolescent groups are for teens ages 12 to 17.
Services Provided: Offers a number of bereavement support groups, each tailored for a specific kind of grief. Groups are 8 weeks in length and are offered throughout the year. The focus of these groups is on the adjustment to the death of a family member or close friend.
