Services Provided: Traveling Clinics provide clinical assessments, diagnostic services, consulting and case management to any infant, child, or adolescent who may have a developmental need, concern, or high risk for:
Autism spectrum disorder
Speech and hearing concerns
Behavioral and emotional challenges
Developmental or physical delays
Cognitive concerns
Orthopedic concerns*
*Orthopedic traveling clinics are held on different days than CDP traveling clinics.
UDOH Integrated Services Program staff assist in coordinating care with the child’s medical home and local community resources.
Patients for the traveling clinics are most often referred by their primary care physician, specialist, early intervention, or a parent.
Provider Profiles: Traveling clinics occur three or four times a year for 1-2 days each per site. Team members travel to each clinic site to provide services.

The University of Utah has assumed responsibility for clinical services formerly provided by the Bureau of Child Development, Utah Department of Health.

Eligibility: Parents of children ages birth to 3, Uintah and Daggett counties, for children with developmental disabilities. Serves almost everyone who wants it. Sliding scale, minimal cost.
Services Provided: An early intervention program serving parents of children birth to 3 who have concerns with their child's development. Developmental Evaluation is free, services may be provided if the child is determined eligible. Eligible children will receive early intervention services provided through an Individual Family Service Plan. These services could be but are not limited to: special instruction, nursing, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and/or physical therapy. All services are based on the child and families individual needs.
Most services delivered in the home.

Eligibility: As a rule, the SRCLP Clinics accept preschool children who have difficulty speaking or understanding the spoken word or school-age children who have difficulty learning to read. Some centers also offer literacy training for adults.
Services Provided: A program to help children with speech and language disorders. Each facility is staffed by speech-language pathologists or other trained personnel. All services are available regardless of race, creed, or the family’s inability to pay.
