Women withdrawing from use of alcohol or drugs

Provides a social model residential detoxification center for homeless women and children under 10 years of age. Clients receive 3 meals a day, access to an outdoor area, and will be able to attend supportive programming activities, including recovery-focused support groups and working in an onsite garden.COVID-19 UPDATE: Following all CDC and state guidelines.

Provides a bridge to self-reliance and health for individuals who struggle with homelessness, domestic violence, addiction, and/or mental illness in the Wasatch front communities. Offers Utah's Amplified Mentoring Program to teach youth life skills and foster self-sufficiency. Utilizes volunteers to aid in mentoring, meal service and preparation, activities, and fund raising. Includes Evidence-based program models for prevention including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and also provides a Homeless Outreach Program.COVID-19 UPDATE: Following CDC and state guidelines.

Children and youth, families. Treatment for those who otherwise are unable to afford treatment, sliding scale. Childcare available. Patient diagnosis must be appropriate for outpatient treatment. Subsidized substance abuse and domestic violence treatment services are primarily available for Salt Lake County residents within income criteria. Children and adults from low-income families who have witnessed or experienced domestic abuse.

Provides general counseling, and counseling for children affected by domestic violence, substance use disorder, and spouse/intimate partner abuse. Homeless or at-risk youth ages 15 to 22.

Open 24/7 and provides 30 emergency overnight shelter beds, three meals served daily, shower and laundry facilities, personal/ grooming supplies, job finding assistance, counseling, trauma and substance abuse. Operated by Volunteers of America, Utah, provides affordable, professional, outpatient mental health services to individuals, couples and families. Services are offered through the Community Cares program on a sliding fee scale based on annual income. Allows each person to pay what he or she can afford. A majority of clients are the uninsured, middle-income, or working poor families who are ineligible for welfare services or similar programs because they are employed, but are still unable to afford the expense of counseling. Includes general/spouse and intimate partner/marriage/substance use disorder counseling, as well as psychiatric medication services, and mental health evaluation.COVID-19 UPDATE: Following all CDC and state guidelines.
