Services Provided:

Serves Salt Lake City's youth between the ages of 8 to 18 with innovative and enriching activities created with input from participants. The programs are located in city community centers, schools, and parks, where young people can have fun and learn new skills in a structured setting. The program currently includes after-school and summer programs, arts education, employment, sports, government, and community involvement. Youth are age 8 - 14, Teens are age 13 - 18.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Now provides programs for youth grades K - High School in the SLC school district, with full-day, digital learning programs, M - F. Will enroll up to 18 youth per location to remain in compliance with health standards. To meet this requirement, some existing programs have been relocated and additional program locations throughout the community have been identified. New locations will be announced. Each location will offer a fully functional lab and Wifi for youth to use throughout the school day. Breakfast, lunch, and a healthy snack will be provided to participants. Continue to provide afterschool programs once the school day has concluded. No visitors, volunteers, etc. will be permitted within the YouthCity spaces.
