CHIP is administered by states, according to federal requirements. Programs provide health insurance for people who do not qualify for Medicaid, do not have access to insurance provided by an employer or cannot afford privately purchased health insurance. Services covered by these programs vary by state but generally include hospitalization, physician services, emergency room visits, family planning, immunizations, laboratory and x-ray services, outpatient surgery, chiropractic care, prescriptions, eye exams, eye glasses and dental care. Services Provided:

Provides employment and support services to help customers improve their economic opportunities, including services for veterans. Employment services include occupational counseling, job search assistance, workshops, and connections to educational opportunities. Other support services include financial assistance, SNAP, Child Care, and eligibility to Medicaid, UPP, and CHIP. COVID-19 Update: the Pandemic-EBT program provides students who were eligible in March for free or reduced-fee lunches a prepaid debit card or additional food stamp funds of $308 for addressing emergency food needs during the pandemic.

Increases awareness of the need for health insurance for all students and assists with applications for Medicaid, CHIP, SSI, HEAT Program, DWS Eligibility and the new Health Insurance Marketplace.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Please call to speak with an employee. There is a limited number of visitors at the office.
