0 - 18 years of age, children and adolescents with special health care needs in Utah. No fee.

Assists families of children and youth who have special health care needs with coordinated care planning, education and resources, in order for them to make informed decisions. This may include primary and special health care, behavioral health, developmental and educational programs, financial support resources and social services that meet their special needs from infancy through the transition to adulthood.

Services Include:

• Transition to Adulthood website provides age-specific recommendations and community resources for any Utah resident age 12-22 who requests assistance with transition preparation and readiness.
• Technology Loan Service- lends Chromebooks and hotspots to families of children with special health care needs. Available at locations in Blanding, Richfield, Vernal, Moab, Price, Ogden and Salt Lake City.

The Utah Autism Initiative (UAI) committee is a state inter-agency advisory panel of experts in the field of ASD-related research and treatment. UAI is formed solely to benefit the citizens of Utah affected by or having an interest in ASD.
