Also offers different expense/ payment assistance that include burial/ cremation, Childcare, mortgage, rent, refugee/ entrant cash assistance, and utility service payments.COVID-19 Update: the Pandemic-EBT program provides students who were eligible in March for free or reduced-fee lunches a prepaid debit card or additional SNAP funds of $308 for addressing emergency food needs during the pandemic.

Offers small grants of up to $500 for Utahns with disabilities to purchase assistive technology devices. 

Provides low-interest loans of up to $50,000 to purchase assistive technology or devices. Up to $25,000 may be loaned for home modifications. Examples of eligible purchases or adaptations include:

A full-fledged Community Bike Shop; aim to make bicycles affordable and accessible for all, and strive to grow our educational programs for adults and youth, our earn-a-bike programs, and social events and rides for cycling enthusiasts and newbies alike.
Youth Open Shop is a program for youth ages 8-17 years old. Participating youth have the option to work on their own bikes (currently a one-time option to get the bike running), help repair bikes for the Collective giving programs, or earn a bike of their own through volunteered hours.

Children ages 3 - 18.

Grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses and assists those experiencing poverty, abuse, or homelessness. Offers funeral cost assistance to families who have lost a child. 

Completed applications must be returned to the Trust by the end of each quarter: March 31st, June 30th, September 30th, and December 31st. 

Provides financial assistance to people who suffer deafness or hearing impairment.  Assistance includes obtaining mechanical devices, medical or specialized treatment or specialized education as well as speech classes, note takers, interpreters, etc. and in other areas of need that are directly related to hearing impairment.

 Provides assistance to single working parents who: Have a child/children between the ages of 5 and 15; Work at least 20 hours a week; And meet the salary requirements, as detailed in the Application Guidelines.

Provides financial assistance to single working parents who wish to enroll their children in extracurricular and enrichment programs.

Individuals with autism who are non-verbal or minimally verbal and whose communication challenges put them at increased risk of injury or harm. For those in extreme financial need.

Parent-led non-profit organization that responds to the most urgent needs of the autism community, providing real help and hope so that all affected can reach their full potential. Provides expense assistance for assistive technology, as well as information on disease and disability.

Focuses on aid that will benefit children, older adults, and vulnerable populations. Limited to US residents and max of $200 per request.

Provides financial assistance wish granting to applicants who successfully demonstrate need.

Low income individuals in need who are referred by professionals.

Assists low income individuals with a range of needs including mobility equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, vehicle modifications such as hand controls and lifts), ramps and minor house modifications for accessibility, medical equipment (not including medical bills or back bills), and prostheses. Applications accepted from referring professionals only (social worker, case manager, teacher, school counselor, minister, etc.).

Sells wheelchair vans and handicap accessible vehicles, new and used, plus wheelchair lifts, scooter lifts, accessible seating and driving aids, from certified handicap van dealerships. Search their inventory online. Can help with having something adapted and resources to help assist financially.
