The HEAT Program provides year-round energy and water assistance as well as energy and water-related crisis assistance for eligible low income households throughout Utah. Applicants may qualify for a heating benefit (Oct. - Mar.), cooling benefit (Apr. - Sept.) and water assistance when applying for the HEAT Program.COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to the pandemic, it may take longer than 45-days to fully process HEAT applications. Provides winter and summer home energy assistance for eligible low-income households throughout the State, between November to April (for assistance after April please call the St. George office). Offers one-time assistance per year per household. Target groups include families with children age five and younger, the elderly, and residents with a disability. Care About Child Care provides a list of child care providers for parents, information about what constitutes quality child care, information about childhood development, and information about available financial aid.

Priority is given to families with disabled, elderly, and preschool age children.

Its mission is to reduce energy costs for low-income families, particularly for the elderly, people with disabilities, and children (0-5), by improving the energy efficiency of their homes while ensuring their health and safety.

• Weatherization Programs

Income restriction. Must be in/under the 130% poverty limit Requires proof of income and family size. Qualified individuals can access services every 2 weeks and re-certify based on income every year. Households must demonstrate there is a need for emergency food assistance due to circumstances beyond their control.

Provides food items and clothing to individuals and families in need.
