Utah law requires any person who has reason to believe that a child has been subjected to abuse, neglect, or dependency to report it to DCFS or a law enforcement agency. If a child is in immediate danger call 911. Any person suspecting child abuse or neglect, call the Division of Child and Family Services 24-hour intake line.

Foster children with special health care needs. Sliding scale based on income.

A program to ensure ongoing medical, dental and mental health services are provided for children in Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) custody. This is done by maximizing quality and timeliness of health care services for the children and ensuring access to providers.

Nurses and staff from the Utah Department of Health are co-located in offices with caseworkers from DCFS. They work in partnership to coordinate the foster child's health care while in custody.
