Helps increase the financial stability of low-to-moderate income households through obtaining a livable wage, learning basic financial principles, and connecting clients with other helpful and appropriate community resources, agencies, and asset-building programs. Provides individual employment and financial stability coaching to help with increasing household income opportunities and organizing financial matters. Assists with birth certificate and ID card fee payments, ex-offender reentry programs, resume preparation, computer literacy, and small business development. When available, offers free, year-round VITA tax assistance program to help with traditional tax filing up to three years past. All tax return appointments are closed.COVID-19 UPDATE: Following all CDC and state guidelines. All VITA appointments for regular 2021 Tax returns are full and no longer available.
