The UBHPAC is a group of individuals who support and advocate for services for consumers of public behavioral health services by planning and advising the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health.

The UBHPAC is an open, public meeting supported by DSAMH, and is regularly held on the first Thursday of each month at the State Office in Salt Lake City.

Utah residents, for people with disabilities with complex or acute needs, an optional Medicaid benefit.

A state operated Intermediate Care Facility, providing an array of resources and supports. Therapeutic, clinical and specialty services. Provides 24-hour-per-day services as well as a day program. Limited in-home respite services. 95% of the USDC is an adult population. The majority reside in our residential buildings. Clients each live in an apartment with four to six others. With staff help, they shop for groceries, cook their meals, and clean their living areas. Therapies include: speech services, nursing services, physical therapy, recreation services.

Operated by the Utah Department of Human Services - Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health, and funded through a grant provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Live crisis counselors are available daily from 7 am - 7 pm to support those experiencing stress, anxiety, or depression in response to COVID-19. This confidential counseling line is free and open to the public. Video calling options available.
