Conducts research into various possible causes of autism spectrum disorders. Part of a larger networks in the US and Europe, including the Autism Sequence Consortium and the Autism Genome Project.

Youth and adults with rheumatic disease

Serves children and adolescents with chronic, incurable autoimmune diseases who will require close and ongoing care over the course of a lifetime. Preparations for transition are formalized, streamlined, and enhanced in order to facilitate successful transfer to an adult rheumatologist.

iSTAR is an intensive community-based participatory research/outreach autism summer program with the long range goal being the development of 3D technology skills in students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) for future employment. The program involves students, families, school districts, community partners and businesses. We have documented student outcomes that include:
