Administers the Community Supports, Acquired Brain Injury, and Physical Disabilities   and Community Transitions waiver programs. There is a waiting list dependent on funding by the State Legislature.

A person may be eligible for services if they have qualifying disabilities in one of the four areas listed: intellectual disabilities or related conditions, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), physical disabilities, autism.

U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident, and a resident of the State of Utah. children and adults who have intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, brain injuries, and autism.

Provides long-term supports and services for people with disabilities so they can lead self-determined lives and participate fully in their communities. DSPD also promotes public awareness and acceptance of people with disabilities.

Children and adults. Must be on a program through the Division of Services for People with Disabilities.

Services include residential, day services, host home/professional parent, supported living, behavior consultation, vocational rehabilitation.

An organization consisting of over forty private provider agencies that serve over 5,000 people with developmental and other types of disabilities in over 400 different locations throughout Utah. Association members are licensed and qualified provider/agencies that contract with the Department of Human Services, primarily the Utah Division of Services for People with Disabilities, the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation, Workforce Services, care centers, families and private entities.
Member agencies assist individuals living in their homes and communities by providing quality services including residential, day services and training, supported employment, family support, and respite care.

A state operated Intermediate Care Facility, providing an array of resources and supports. Therapeutic, clinical and specialty services. Provides 24-hour-per-day services as well as a day program. Limited in-home respite services. 95% of the USDC is an adult population. The majority reside in our residential buildings. Clients each live in an apartment with four to six others. With staff help, they shop for groceries, cook their meals, and clean their living areas. Therapies include: speech services, nursing services, physical therapy, recreation services.
