Services Provided: MAPS supports medically fragile and more cognitively challenged to achieve their individual progress.

STAR provides customized plan of action to empower students to make a successful transition from school to adult living.

STEPS is a transition program serving students with disabilities between the ages of 18 - 22 and have completed their senior year in high school or not completed graduation requirements. Instruction is focused on the following: Career exploration and vocational training, Functional academics and adult daily living skills. Community participation and recreation/leisure activities. Expected behavior and age appropriate social skills.

STRIDE is the most restrictive setting in the Davis Special Education continuum under IDEA. It serves students from 9th grade to 12+ until age 22. STRIDE's purpose is to help individual students learn the skills needed to return to their home school.

Eligibility: Child must be four years old and cannot be enrolled in another Davis School District preschool.
Services Provided: Program is based on the Creative Curriculum Model focusing on the physical, social-emotional, cognitive and language/literacy development of learning. Play is the medium through which active preschoolers learn. Children choose from a variety of well-designed activities each day which promote learning in those areas. Parental involvement is an integral component of the program and parents are strongly encouraged to participate. Parents must provide transportation to and from the program location for the student.
Provider Profiles: Enrolled students attend the program Monday through Thursday from 8:45 to 3:25 and Friday 8:45 to 1:25. There is no charge for the preschool.
