Eligibility: Call or e-mail for information on referral to specific providers. Must be a Salt Lake county resident for funding assistance.
Services Provided: The Division does not treat clients directly, but has a group of subcontracted providers throughout Salt Lake County that are responsible for the treatment of referred clients. The Division subcontracts with the University of Utah's Assessment & Referral Services to perform assessments, offers free interim groups for individuals who may have to wait for admission into treatment, and utilizes school districts and other providers to deliver prevention education.

Eligibility: Weber and Morgan counties. Have or have had an identified substance use disorder and are: National Guard Members and their families or significant other, or referred from primary health care providers, other health care entity, or self-referred. Sliding fee scale based on income and household size. Shall not be subject to a court order or condition of probation that dictates a specific treatment or recovery support service, and do not have the ability to pay for services.
Services Provided:

To improve, enhance and promote the emotional wellbeing and growth of individuals who experience life-disrupting problems due to mental illness and/or chemical abuse. To strengthen the quality of their personal, family, and community life.
Residential support for 16 for acute needs, coordinates privately held rental units.

Eligibility: Must be seeking substance abuse treatment and unable to pay for costs. Must have exhausted all other avenues for help: friends, family, church, etc. Must be willing to commit to at least 30 days of residential treatment.
Services Provided:

Provides scholarships through partnerships with treatment programs for addicts in need who are seeking help and require inpatient treatment. Please note: scholarship placements take time. This is not a 24/7 emergency service. Applications are closed November, December and January of each year, reopening on the 2nd Monday in February.

Eligibility: Day one welcomes all ages in need of mental health counseling or evaluations. Must live in Box Elder, Morgan, or Weber County and be within 400% of the federal poverty level. Day One gives referrals to those who do not income qualify to other affordable counseling resources.
Services Provided: Day One is a non-profit organization that offers affordable outpatient mental health counseling to those in need.
