Services Provided: To improve, enhance and promote the emotional wellbeing and growth of individuals who experience life-disrupting problems due to mental illness and/or chemical abuse. To strengthen the quality of their personal, family, and community life.

Eligibility: Utah County residents who have an identified substance abuse disorder and are Guard members and their families or significant others, or self referred and do not have the ability to pay for services. Must not be subject to a court order or condition of probation that dictates a specific treatment or recovery support service.
Services Provided: Provides vouchers of funding to clients for certain recovery support services to assist them in initiating and maintaining recovery from drugs and alcohol. Funding is potentially available for transportation, housing, and other barriers to recovery.
To enroll in an Access to Recovery Voucher program, an individual will receive an assessment to see if they are eligible, and then will be given the list of centers and/or organizations that take part in the ATR program. Once they make a choice, they will get a voucher that lasts 90 days at the treatment center that they chose.

Eligibility: Must be seeking substance abuse treatment and unable to pay for costs. Must have exhausted all other avenues for help: friends, family, church, etc. Must be willing to commit to at least 30 days of residential treatment.
Services Provided:

Provides scholarships through partnerships with treatment programs for addicts in need who are seeking help and require inpatient treatment. Please note: scholarship placements take time. This is not a 24/7 emergency service. Applications are closed November, December and January of each year, reopening on the 2nd Monday in February.

Services Provided: The Division does not treat clients directly, but has a group of subcontracted providers throughout Salt Lake County that are responsible for the treatment of referred clients. The Division subcontracts with the University of Utah's Assessment & Referral Services to perform assessments, offers free interim groups for individuals who may have to wait for admission into treatment, and utilizes school districts and other providers to deliver prevention education.

Services Provided: A nonprofit organization that provides affordable counseling and mental health services to individuals and families, especially those in crisis who have nowhere else to turn for help. Services address a variety of issues, including those related to depression, anxiety, suicide, grief, substance and domestic abuse and anger management.

Services Provided: Offers charitable outpatient mental health counseling to those in need. Grant monies will be paid directly to the mental health agency providing services upon receipt of an invoice from that agency. No monies will be paid directly to clients and/or their families.
